Registration is now open for the 2019 Recreational Boating Educational Conference (RBEC). More than 150 marine business men and women from Michigan and around the Great Lakes are expected to attend December 4-5 at the Radisson in Lansing, Mich.

“RBEC provides for our members and industry partners a time to network and gain knowledge from our expert speakers to advance their businesses – it’s really an invaluable experience for all who attend,” said MBIA Executive Director Nicki Polan.

The conference will host five keynote sessions including Generational Expert Meagan Johnson; How to Keep your Information Secure in Cyber Space; an Economic Update from Wells Fargo; Hot Topics in Human Resources (wages, #metoo movement, and more); and Marcus Sheridan, a well-known speaker and friend to the boating industry, will close the conference with The Digital Consumer: How Today’s Buyer has Changed and What Your Business Must Do About It! … PLUS breakout sessions for the MBIA’s rising leaders, Creating Video Content, Sales, The Clean Marina Reboot and more!

“We’ve listened to our attendees and focused on convening together more, with more keynote sessions that are valuable to all attendees. We also adding networking time to interact with our product and services showcase, and the MBIA Board has approved lower group rates to incentivize our members to bring multiple staff with them,” said VP of Marketing for MBIA Amanda Wendecker.
