Boating Industry, the monthly U.S. boating business magazine, has selected Volvo Penta and Seven Marine’s Integrated Outboard Experience among its top products of the year.
The 2019 list of the 50 top boating products appeared in the May issue of the magazine. The products were chosen by the editors from hundreds of nominations, based on their impact on the industry, innovation and how they advanced their category.
“With continued demand from consumers for outboard powered boats, the team up between Volvo Penta, Seven Marine and Tiara delivered a unique set of inboard power experiences in a well-designed outboard package. The Volvo Penta Integrated Outboard Experience sets a new standard in the recreational boating industry in what an outboard package can and should do,” said Adam Quandt, Managing Editor, Boating Industry.
The new system made its debut on the Tiara Sport 38LS at the 2019 Miami International Boat Show. Integrating Volvo Penta’s Electronic Vessel Control (EVC) and Seven Marine’s high-performance outboards, the Integrated Outboard Experience is packaged with Volvo Penta’s Easy Boating solutions such as joystick driving. The result is an unprecedented inboard experience with high-powered outboard engines.
The package was recognized by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) with an Innovation Award in the Outboard Engine category.
