RBFF Partners with AREA to Develop R3 Guidelines

August 2015 News GLB Admin
Walleye are a favorite target for many anglers and the recent stocking of more than 4 million fingerlings means there will be plenty more opportunity for them to fish across the state. ALEXANDRIA, VA (August 18, 2015) - The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation (RBFF) and the Aquatic Resources Education Association (AREA) today announced a new partnership to develop angler recruitment, retention and reactivation (R3) guidelines. The partnership will provide the framework for industrywide angler recruitment, retention and reactivation programs. The guidelines will incorporate current R3 strategies developed by the Wildlife Management Institute (WMI), and will build upon the foundation provided by RBFF's Best Practices Workbook for Boating, Fishing and Aquatic Resources Stewardship Education. http://news.takemefishing.org/R3_Guidelines
