A new marina at One Port Street East could cost the City up to $50 million.
At Wednesday’s general committee meeting, councillors debated the possibility of investing millions of dollars into a future marina, as part of Inspiration Port Credit, a strategic vision for the city’s waterfront. A business case created by marina consultants Touristics recommended public sector involvement in the redevelopment to ensure the City would reap the rewards generated from economic spin-off.
