Michigan DNR
Mich.--In the midst of National Safe Boating Week, the Michigan DNR reminds boaters to practice boating safety. They encourage boaters to wear life jackets, avoid drinking alcohol, make sure the boat is properly equipped and equipment is in good working order, file a float plan, keep a sharp lookout, and carry a marine radio or cell phone.
