A Beach Hazards Statement was in effect for much of Sunday on Monroe County's Lake Erie shoreline; and those conditions will return late today. The announcement that the National Weather Service posted at 4 a.m. today (Monday June 29) calls for high wave action and dangerous swimming conditions in the beaches from Estral Beach to Luna Pier, including Sterling State Park and Toledo Beach, this evening and tonight.
