Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show was a success for the represented brands of the Marquis / Larson Group and the dealer representatives that worked the displays.

Marquis Yachts, LLC builder of Marquis and Carver Yachts, as well as Van Dutch had seven boats on display at the Bahia Mar Marina including the Carver C52 Coupe, which made its global debut at the show. Larson Boats, LLC Striper brand was represented in the convention center with five boats. Striper also introduced a new display at the show that created additional interest in the brand and the boats on display.

"We are very happy with our overall outcome at the show, resulting in more than $11.5M in sold boats," said Marquis / Larson Group President & CEO Rob Parmentier. Parmentier went on to say, "We still have opportunities on the table and work in front of us. Our dealers have dozens of solid leads to follow up on only adding to this incredible success we had from Thursday through Monday."

The Carver C52 Coupe was a huge hit with all visitors. The abundant space in the salon, the expansive sun roof, massive amounts of storage throughout the boat all were rewarded with positive feedback from potential buyers. So much that the production rate will be increased to meet demand. The new C52 Command Bridge, launched at the Miami International Boat Show this February, continues to be a hit for the combination of space, performance, comfort and value.

Parmentier concluded, "The engagement of the customers, the activity within the booths and the sales results all indicate our brand promise, product offering and market position are what boat buyers are desiring - value and return on their investment."
