SANDUSKY — A local boating company is keeping the Paper District Marina’s finances afloat.
Sandusky officials expect the publicly financed boating facility to eke out a small surplus by year’s end.
It’s a major accomplishment when considering the West Shoreline Drive marina has lost money during each operational year since opening in 2011. Those shortfalls have collectively sent $118,000 down the proverbial drain.
