The unmistakable sounds of big band music will fill the air on Thursday, August 18 when the Rhythm Society Orchestra takes the stage at Wenonah Park in Downtown Bay City for Summer Breeze, an annual event to raise funds to support educational programs aboard the tall ships Appledore IV and Appledore V. But there will be one really big change in the program for 2016: the concert will be offered free of charge as a way to thank the greater Bay City community for its support of Tall Ship Celebration July 14—17.
