Beneteau’s Swift Trawler 30, the latest addition to the company’s best-selling line of fast trawlers, made its North American debut in February at the Yacht and Brokerage Show in Miami. Cut out for the high seas, the Swift Trawler 30 represents Beneteau’s continuing quest to define the trawler.
Beneteau launched the Swift Trawler line in 2003 and since then, has established itself as the standard for long-distance cruisers. The Swift Trawler 30 exemplifies Beneteau’s boatbuilding philosophy within 31’5” of hull length, with a range of 200 nautical miles and cruising speed of 15 knots.
The semi-planing hull of the Swift Trawler 30 offers superior performance and handling. Distinctive, modern lines make for a very attractive profile. The deck layout leaves ample room to move about the boat, including optimized access to the swim platform, creating 65 sq. ft. of opening to the water.
To maximize safety and comfort, the Swift Trawler 30 comes equipped with handrails throughout, along with high pulpits and a generous, well-protected starboard side deck. Side-door access to the helm station makes maneuvers a breeze.
The wheelhouse offers unrivaled openness and a bright interior thanks to panoramic views, unique for a cruiser this size. The trawler’s modular layout is practical and comfortable, featuring a fully opening transom, foldable seats, and a sizable flybridge fitted with a swiveling removable table. Inside are foldaway seats, a convertible sofa, and a removable table to maximize and customize space to fit the needs of any crew.
The rear cockpit converts into a spacious overhanging terrace. The flybridge offers a completely separate space with a small lounge area and helm station.
