Detroit, Mich.--Last year, Brien Baker's
Windancer won the first ever Corinthian award for the
Bell’s Beer Bayview Mackinac Race. Brien's crew was the top all-amateur crew and was awarded with a flag on Mackinac Island and their name on a trophy at Bayview. The Corinthian Trophy is back again for the race, which starts
July 16. The trophy will go to the boat with the best corrected time in seconds-per-mile, so the trophy is open to both the Cove Island and Shore Course competitions.
