Northeast Region--The Wisconsin DNR will host a public meeting on Thursday, May 12 in Sturgeon Bay to discuss public input as it develops a specific rule to better protect spawning whitefish in northern Lake Michigan and potentially modify commercial fishing zone whitefish allocation or zone structure to better reflect current whitefish abundance and distribution.
