It appears that the city of Mentor is ready to get out of the marina business. The multi-million dollar question is what to do with it.
City Council’s Lagoons Committee met with the administration Jan. 15 to discuss options for reutilizing the property — popular with its 500-plus boaters, but not profitable enough to pay for millions of dollars in improvements needed for aging infrastructure.
