PORTAGE | U.S. Rep. Pete Visclosky recalled a meeting he had with former Portage Mayor Doug Olson nearly 15 years ago.
"He said, 'Pete, I need a park,'" Visclosky told a small group gathered under a tent Monday morning for the opening of the next phase of development to make Lake Michigan more accessible to residents and visitors.
