CHEBOYGAN, MI -- The
Coast Guard Cutter Mackinaw is set to deliver 1,200 Christmas trees from Northern Michigan to Chicago families in need.
The trip from Cheboygan marks the 15th annual reenactment of the "Christmas Ship" tradition from the late 1800s and early 1900s.
