FREMONT – As Fremont City Council nears a decision on whether to remove the Ballville Dam on the Sandusky River, wetland loss and sediment behind the structure are possible issues.
City Council is discussing ways to replace lost wetlands and what to do with the sediment, which has built up over the 100 years the dam has been there.
