ALBANY – Boaters who don't wash their boats before entering New York waterways will soon face fines under a bill signed Tuesday by Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
The new law, which will take effect in one year, was sponsored by Sen. Tom O'Mara, R-Big Flats, and Assemblywoman Barbara Lifton, D-Ithaca.
